A PVC coil doormat, also known as a coil mat, is particularly easy to clean thanks to its durable, woven and highly draining structure. To keep it in good condition, simply follow these steps:
- Remove surface dirt by shaking the doormat. You can also use a broom, vacuum cleaner or air blower.
- Rinse with water, including using a pressure washer to remove dirt trapped between the coils.
- For a more thorough clean, wash with water and mild soap using a non-abrasive sponge, then rinse thoroughly.
- Allow the doormat to dry completely outdoors, keeping it upright in a well-ventilated area and away from direct sunlight.
- Do not wash the doormat in a washing machine.
Before putting it back in place, make sure the doormat is completely dry to prevent unpleasant odours and mould.
